Tokyo’s Shiodome Illumination

Prepare to lose yourself in a magical fantasy

Located within Shiodome’s Caretta building, the “Canyon d’Azur” is the star attraction amongst this impressive display

The lights are so bright and fantastic that they reflect perfectly off the surrounding buildings

It’s very easy to lose yourself in this sea of spectacular lights and music

Amongst the vast ocean of LEDs is this picturesque tree

The blue glow emanating from thousands of LEDs contrasts perfectly against the surrounding buildings

Several meters walk away from the Caretta building is another display featuring a 15 meter ‘corridor of light’

At the end of this ‘corridor of light’ is another impressive display

This area also features several displays which regularly change color, making a great end to the evening!

Ranked by many as Tokyo’s top winter attraction, Shimbashi’s Shiodome city complex plays host once again to the spectacular ‘Canyon D’Azur’ illumination.

Featuring a vast ocean of multi-colored LED lights, along with regular musical performances, this modern skyscraper district provides the perfect place to lose yourself in a magical fantasy which looks and feels like something straight out of a Disney Movie.

Open from 17:00 to 23:00 and running until January 12th, this is one event which even despite the large crowds and long queues cannot fail to impressive anyone who comes here.
