If you're searching for a winter ice skating destination in Hyogo, look no further than the Umie Ice Marina. The popular annual event allows visitors to skate whilst they enjoy some spectacular views out over Kobe Harbor, and the rink itself is illuminated after dark.
Skates and gloves are available to rent at the venue, but if you do have your own pair of skates bring them along – you'll receive a ¥ 400 discount on your admission fee.
Do note that the rink opening hours differ from weekdays to weekends. On weekdays, the rink operates from 4 pm until 8 pm, but on weekends the hours extend to 11 am until 8 pm.
