The Nagoya Handmade Marche brings one of Japan's largest handmade festivals to Aichi for the first time, and is set to feature over 1100 booths filled with handmade works from artists across the country. The Handmade Marche event originally started in Yokohama in 2013, and has spread to 12 cities all the way from Hokkaido to Fukuoka.

Visitors to the Nagoya event will have the opportunity to explore and purchase a diverse range of original creations, including accessories, fashion, art, interior goods, and handmade foods like baked goods, Japanese sweets, and seasonings.

In addition to shopping, attendees can enjoy hands-on experiences with 30 types of workshops led by skilled artisans. These beginner-friendly classes cover various crafts, such as accessory-making, interior decoration, and succulent planting, allowing participants of all ages and skill levels to engage with the event in a creative way.

Part of the event's appeal is that it serves as a celebration of craftsmanship, with a strong focus on fostering direct interaction between makers and buyers. It also helps in contributing to regional revitalization and the promotion of a bottom-up manufacturing culture.
