Highlights

Spring

One of the park’s most iconic flowers is the blue nemophila, which blooms from late April to mid May across Miharashi Hill. Over five million pale flowers blanket the hill in a sea of blue, which on clear days, creates an image of a never ending sky as the meeting between the land and sky is nearly indistinguishable. The best time to view the nemophilas is at the beginning of their blooming season in April when they are most vibrant.

Aside from this feature flower, the park also shines with daffodils and tulips, as well as roses and poppies, which you can also enjoy in early summer.

Summer

During summer, observe kochia plants, which resemble green pom poms, and bright zinnias, and specifically in August, celebrate the warm and sunny time of year with about 30,000 happy sunflowers!

Autumn

Autumn is another one of the park’s busiest times of year when the kochia plants’ leaves turn vibrant red. The red spherical bushes cover Miharashi Hill in a surreal display of color, perfect for welcoming in the new season. In October, you can also observe the park’s over two million pink cosmos; the orange variety can also be enjoyed in September.

Autumn

Winter

From late December to early January about 10,000 ice tulips bloom in the Guest House, and later in the season, from February to March, you can observe Japanese plum trees.
