ใช้เวลาเดินประมาณ 15-20 นาทีจากสถานีเคคิว ทะอุระ (Keikyu Taura) หรือเจอาร์ ทะอุระ (JR Taura) เป็นที่ตั้งของ อุเมะ-โนะ-สะโตะ (Ume-no-Sato) หรือ สวนพลัม ซึ่งจะมีชีวิตชีวาขึ้นในช่วงเวลาเทศกาลฤดูใบไม้ผลิประจำปี จัดให้มีขึ้นตั้งแต่ปลายเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ไปจนถึงต้นเดือนมีนาคม

ในงานมีต้นพลัมกว่า 2700 ต้น ซึ่งจะพากันเบ่งบานงดงาม ดอกพลัมที่หลายคนสับสนกับดอกซากุระที่มีชื่อเสียงกว่า ต้นไม้ที่งดงามนี้เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้คนออกไปชื่นชมความมหัศจรรย์แห่งธรรมชาติ

สวนแห่งนี้ตั้งอยู่บนเนินเขาสูงเหนือชายฝั่งมิอุระ เป็นสถานที่ที่ดีสำหรับมาปิกนิค ในขณะที่ชื่นชมดอกไม้สีสันสดใส ในสวนยังมีระเบียงชมวิวที่เปิดโอกาสให้ชมวิวที่งดงามเหนือชายฝั่งทะเลมิอุระ

This year`s plum festival lasted from the 4th of February to the 17th March, during which time the narrow streets and rivers leading up to this park are covered with many pink banners

Although there are several entrances to the park it can easily be accessed from either Keikyu Taura Station, (on the Keikyu Line) or Taura Station (on the JR Yokosuka Line), where it is possible to pick up a map from either station

In the background an observation deck is clearly visible, providing some great panoramic views of the Miura Coast
